Tomorrow is The Important Day

I'm very anxious to see the beginning of the Inauguration and I'm very sad that I'm not able to be there to be apart of this historical event. This will be the highlight of my year, I've been waiting for this since I finished reading the book "Dreams From My Father". This means a lot to me because I've been ready for change since 2004.

I hope your are planning on watching, DVRing, and remembering it. I know I am!

Good-bye Mr.Bush and I hope your brother doesn't plan on running for president...

P.S. I'm SO excited to see what Mrs. Obama is going to wear!

Designers Team Up For Obama's Big Day

As most of you know, some fashion designers have been supporting Obama since he won the Democratic Nomination. I remember seeing Rachel Roy at the Teen Vogue event rocking a Change pin on her lovely tweed jacket. And the creators of Rag&Bone wearing Obama tee shirts to show their support. Everyone from Jay-Z to Marc Jacobs designed a tee-shirt or an accessories to support Obama/Biden '09. Now, certain designers are helping Obama by designing a new item for the Inauguration on January 20th, 2009. My favorite items are the Diana Von Furstenberg's tote bag and Zac Posen's tee with the bow tie!

The New Improved JFK, Our President Obama

When my friend sent me the link to the shirt he bought, I wasn't expecting this! When our President Barack was announced as our new President of the United State, the first thing that came to my mind was, "The new improved JFK!!" This shirt means a lot to me, so I will be purchasing it for myself. Its a piece of art that says.. History is repeated because we needed a change and a new President for the people. I hope people are able to understand the meaning of this tee shirt.
