Take It All By Adele

Saw Adele perform "Take It All" off her new upcoming album at the Hollywood Bowl in June. I can't believe I saw her live, she was beyond amazing. Her voice sounds exactly the same as her album.

All I Want for My Birthday Is: Britney Spears

I think April 17th, 2009 was added to her Circus Tour for a reason... because it's my birthday that day!(It wasn't added until recently) I wanted to attend her show but tickets sold out too fast and I don't attend shows unless I have good seating. After watching this clip of her rehearsing, I'm really thinking about attending her show and NOT going to New York City for my birthday weekend. Coachella? It's out of my plans. Their line-up isn't impressive now.

Charles, I'd love you x10 more if you can get me some tickets. :)

VH1 + Kanye = Denise

I never seen VH1's Storytellers so this is brand new to me. When I realized that Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Sting, Elton John, Coldplay and other great artists were featured. I flipped out! I got chosen to attend this show that will be featuring Kanye West. Imagine how excited I was, I wanted to cry! I was lucky to be one of the 40 people who got chosen from the Kanye West's fan club. Now I need to worry what to tell my parents about my expanded stay in Los Angeles and finding the right outfit.

Is It Worth It?

FINALLY! The The line was released. I like about 40% of those artists, not sure if I'd rather attend this festival than go to New York City. I need help!

Would you rather attend a 3-day music event for your birthday weekend or go to New York City?

Coachella '09

I might wait to go to New York City for my birthday. Last year, I missed this huge music festival and Prince was added on the line-up a week before the event! Now that the dates been announced, I'm considering of going! I heard Coldplay is going to perform, for sure but the line-up hasn't been released..yet. I do know Lupe Fiasco is going to be there. Until sometime next week! Any one going to this? They said it's the Indie/Hip Hop Woodstock.. lol.

Bad

I just heard "Bad Girl" by Rihanna featuring Chris Brown. And I actually like it! It's a different vibe from her but it's a cool song. I can hear this in a club or at a party. I'm sure it'll be a hit for her. Click here to download it.

UPDATE: If you're interested in owning a personalized piece by designer Melody Ehsani(She made Rihanna's "Bad" ring, then click here! She has cute things.

Pastelle

I've never seen these pictures before so it was mandatory for me to post them! In case, you weren't informed Kanye is coming out with his own clothing line called "Pastelle". It's been in the works for a good while now but he said he doesn't want to release it until it's perfect. It's a men's brand but I also did read that he was working on a small ladies line. Hopefully, that's true! Last time, I heard it's release date is sometime in January 2009, a month before the Air Yeezys come out. This is going to be a mix of urban wear with high-end style. Kanye is always on top of things!

"I Go Through Life Like a Karate Kid"

YAY! Britney's tour will be in California for my birthday(April 17) week! I haven't yet decided where I'd like to see her. I'd love to see her in L.A but then I prefer smaller arenas. Has anyone ever been to the San Jose HP Pavillion or at the Sacramento Arco Arena? The Staples Center is a little too big for concerts, I think so. But I'm just too excited cause NO MATTER, I will be there singing and dancing to Britney & The Pussycat Dolls!

THANK YOU BRITNEY! I've missed you! This will be the BEST birthday ever, hands down.(I have make up for this past birthday.)

REMEMBER to purchase "Circus" TODAY! And Happy birthday, Britney!

I Am...Sasha Firece

Beyonce's "I Am...Sasha Firece" is OUT RIGHT NOW! GO out and purchase it at your local record store or at Target!

I think by far this is her best record. We're able to experience two sides of Beyonce. I cannot wait to dance to some of her songs!

My favorite songs so far are:
If I Were A Boy, Halo, Sweet Dreams, Broken Hearted Girl and I'm Alone Now.

SEMTEX TV: DELA SOUL, MOS DEF, NAS, WILL I AM, KANYE WEST, DAMON ALBARN ROC THE MIC @ THE G.O.O.D. MUSIC AFTER PARTY, LONDON, UK from DJ SEMTEX on Vimeo.

Sometimes, I wish I lived in London...

I've been blessed to see De La Soul, Mos Def and Nas at the Rock the Bells '08 in San Francisco. But it wouldn't hurt to see them ALL together again. And with Kanye & Will I AM there!

My First

Greetings!

I'm still surprised that I managed to make an account for my first blog ever! But I'm stoked! I'm still not too sure what I'd like my blog to be about but I'm leaning towards music, fashion, love situations, 'a shopping guide', travel and beauty. It's very inspiring to see other blogs because it gives me that personal feeling, that connection with the blogger. I hope I am able to deliver that also. I'd love to interact and share my thoughts with you. I'd also appreciate if you left me your thoughts/experiences. I'm planning on ordering a digital camera to make it more visual. I don't know if I'm the only one... But like Mary-Kate(in NYLON) said, "Everything I do must be visually appealing to me." I totally agree because it seems boring with just text!

Well, I'm excited to blog and developing a new habit!

Hope you stick around and enjoy this experience as much as I will.

Cheers,
Denise
